To our respected seniors, esteemed colleagues, and members of Maha IAP,

At the outset, I express my heartfelt gratitude for showing confidence in me as the first-ever democratically elected President of Maharashtra IAP. We stand at a pivotal moment in child healthcare. As we start our journey for 2026, our mission remains steadfast: to provide equitable, high-quality care to every child in Maharashtra.

Our theme this year is "Healing the Children and Honoring the Healers". This we will achieve through our Key Strategic Pillars:

• Academic Excellence: Continuing our continuous academic activities, both virtual and physical, to bridge the gap between urban and rural practitioners.
• Advocacy for the Girl Child: Intensifying efforts against malnutrition and promoting gender-neutral healthcare access.
• Adolescent Health: Addressing the silent epidemic of mental health issues and screen addiction among the youth.
• Vaccination Leadership: Maintaining Maharashtra’s lead in immunization coverage.

I am confident and proud of my team that we will be rock-solid in achieving the aims and objectives of our organization, Maha IAP, and putting our untiring efforts to take Maha IAP to the pinnacle of excellence.
