On the occasion of National Deworming Day , observed on February 10th , Navi Mumbai IAP conducted Two health check up camps, one at DighaGaon Airoli Anganwadi-Diwagaon and the other at Dhamole Gaon Anganwadi , Kharghar. Dr. Jeetendra Gavhane, Dr. Prashant Weekay and Dr. Mahendra Topale were present at the Digha Gaon Anganwadi while Dr. Satish Shahane, Dr. Mangai Sinha, Dr. Kalyani Patra and Dr. Cyril D’Souza were at the Dhamole Anganwadi .Apart from administering Deworming medicines to the children, a talk emphasizing on hygiene and impact of anemia and worm infestation in children was rendered to the children and parents present there. A complete health examination was also done.
