This month started with a very good academic feast by two lectures by Dr. Sunil Gavhane on NEONATAL SEIZURES : UPDATE and a very interesting case of NEONATAL DIABETES presented by Dr. Izhar Jaweed. The CME was followed by delicious dinner.
Our team involved in MAHAIAP case challege, Dr Ajay Jadhav, Dr. Shriram Baglane and Dr. Rahul Raut represented Beed team under captainship of our president Dr. Subhash Joshi sir. It was a wonderful session under expert guidance of Dr. Y. K. Ambdekar sir and Dr. Rshikesh Thakare sir.
we had a clinical meeting on 24th of February with local pediatricians where Dr. Rahul Raut presented a topic of Allergic Rhinitis its diagnosis and management. This meeting was followed by dinner. We had discussion about future activities of IAP Beed.
We conducted a CIAP online Hepatitis A module for pediatrcians of Maharashtra with grant of 1 MMC point. The module is co-ordinated with help of Central IAP and MAHAIAP with emminent national faculties Dr. Bhaskar Shenoy, Dr. Rajsekaran, Dr. Rimjhim Shrivastava, Dr. Ravishankara, Dr. K. P . Shrikanth and Dr.Sachin Patil, Dr. R. K.Gupta. EB members Dr. Narendra Nanivadekar , Dr. Bela Verma, Dr. Sanjay Deshmukh, Dr. Pramod Kulkarni moderated sessions during the programme. Dr Hemant Gangolia , president MAHAIAP and Dr. Amol Pawar secretary MAHAIAP blessed the event with their presence. It was a wonderful session of 3 hrs with attendace of more than 250 delegates.
We supported pulse polio immunisation by actively involving in and creating awareness in the community.
