DOWN’S SYNDROME AWARENESS ON Worlds Down Syndrome DAY 21ST march 2022, IAP Nagpur used Social Media platform for creating awareness about Down’s Syndrome. We posted our posters made by Dr. PALLAVI BAPAT ( Developmental Ped) on facebook, our what’s app status, Instagram. All the IAP, NAGPUR members and pediatricians they all used social media for creating awareness. The four posters explained Downs in very simple and understandable language for everyone to understand.

Indian Academy Of Cerebral Palsy and Indian Academy Of Pediatrics , Nagpur conducted 2 days VIRTUAL WORKSHOP on “ Demystifying Developmental Disorders in office practice on 26th and 27th March 2022. Total 47 delegates attended this virtual workshop. Development related concerns of children may not be categorized as “Emergency” nevertheless they are essential & importance of embarking upon regular developmental surveillance, early detection early intervention cannot be weighed down. It’s rightly said that “development is the mirror of child’s education”. Keeping noble objective of updating knowledge of health care professionals in development disorder, a two day virtual workshop was conducted. Workshop commenced with welcome remarks by Mr K D Malikkarjun, President of IACP, Dr. Rajkumar Kiratkar President & Dr. Pritesh Khatwar, secretary of Academy Of Pediatrics, Nagpur graced the occasion by their valuable presence. Varied topics under “Identification of Developmental Differences & Early Action (IDEAA) “module were deliberated by many expert and renowned faculties in the field. Hands on training of participants in various classification systems based on International Classification systems based on Disability and Health (ICF) module of World Health Organization (WHO) for children with Cerebral Palsy was conducted.
